Atenism does not endorse or support any particular political party. The politics of man have little to do with the affairs of Aten. If anything, they are used by all parties to promote agendas that have little to do with religious ideals and values. This does not mean Atenism ever discourages its members from voting their conscience — only that they remember the ethos “Do No Harm” and apply wisdom in all their decisions.
It is important that Atenists not promote a political party that discourages worship of God or that promotes abortion or the breaking of any laws promulgated within Atenism. Any member with leadership responsibilities who is connected with a political party that promotes abortion may be demoted or possibly expelled from the Temple.
